Our story
Built in Newfoundland. Built to last.
Universal Corporate Wear started in 2004 under owner-operator Lynn Hindy with a simple idea: businesses and organizations here deserve one reliable source for branded apparel and promotional products, without the runaround.
Two decades later we have outfitted hundreds of organizations across the province, from two-person startups to major corporate operations, from minor hockey teams to provincial swim programs. We handle the whole thing under one roof: sourcing, design, decoration and delivery.
We are based at 9 Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl, serving St. John’s, Paradise, Conception Bay South, Torbay and the whole Avalon, with delivery province-wide.
Today UCW is part of the Islandwide group of companies, which means we bring the buying power and production capacity of a much larger operation with the responsiveness you would expect from a local supplier. Our in-house production floor is how we control both quality and timelines end to end.
